The European Union has placed ChatGPT, Reddit, and Roblox under strict regulation after each surpassed 45 million average users in the region. The platforms will now face additional requirements under the Digital Services Act (DSA) which aims to reduce risks associated with large online services. New rules require these services to assess and mitigate risks involving illegal content, child protection, mental health and fundamental rights.
