A Lahore court granted the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) a three-day physical remand for six officials of the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA). They are among nine individuals nominated in an FIR for allegedly extorting over Rs9 million and misusing authority. The complaint was filed by Aroob Jatoi, the wife of YouTuber Ducky Bhai. The FIR alleges that NCCIA Assistant Director Shoaib Riaz and others operated a network that took bribes to facilitate online fraudsters and their activities. The officials were arrested and brought before the court in handcuffs. The investigation of the case has been assigned to the FIA Anti-Corruption Circle Lahore.
