The Islamabad High Court directed that journalist Asad Toor should not be harassed during an NCCIA inquiry into a report he shared about the medical condition of the PTI founder. Toor’s counsel said he was willing to join the inquiry but feared arrest. The notice, issued July 29, had never specified the allegations against him, prompting Toor’s earlier IHC petition. The court summoned the investigating officer in his personal capacity.
