A Lahore judicial magistrate granted the NCCIA a six-day physical remand of podcaster Rehan Tariq, arrested at Lahore Airport on his return from abroad. The FIR, filed after Tariq hosted a podcast featuring a religious scholar discussing sensitive sectarian matters, cites Section 11 of PECA (hate speech) alongside Sections 153-A, 295-A and 298 of the Pakistan Penal Code.
