Authorities in Islamabad have finalized an extensive security plan for Muharram, with religious gatherings and processions set to be digitally monitored through drones and modern surveillance systems. The measures will help maintain public safety, law and order, and allow local authorities to respond quickly to any security threats during Muharram. In addition to CCTV cameras and drone surveillance, heightened security checks and social media monitoring will also be used to prevent the spread of misinformation and hate speech.
