A judicial magistrate in Lahore granted the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) a further four-day physical remand of Faheem Akram and co-suspect Naeem in a Rs35 billion fraud involving online sale of counterfeit US postage stamps. The suspects must be produced again on November 3. Akram allegedly operated a website since August 2023 selling over five million counterfeit labels. He was indicted in Florida in September 2026 over 5.1 million labels causing losses above $126 million. NCCIA said 16 bank accounts were used, eight special teams conducted raids at 35 locations, and investigators questioned 47 people and examined financial transactions.
