The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MoIB) has clarified that a notification circulating on social media claiming Pakistan’s government has introduced a four-day working week is fake. The fake notification, dated September 16, appeared to be issued by the Cabinet Division and claimed that government offices would operate from Monday to Thursday, with Friday declared as a holiday. The Ministry fact-checker warned the public not to believe or share the misleading document and advised citizens to rely only on official government channels for announcements.
