Taxila police arrested five suspects, including the victim’s father Fazal and brother Bashir, in connection with the murder of TikToker Shamsu Bibi, known as Ayesha Gilamana. Police said the suspects confessed to orchestrating the killing and allegedly attempted to create a false narrative to mislead investigators. The breakthrough came after investigators reviewed footage from over 100 CCTV cameras alongside technical evidence and human intelligence. Police stated the murder was allegedly committed in the name of so-called honour. All five suspects were to be produced before a court with collected evidence.
