The National Assembly Standing Committee on Information Technology and Telecommunication has expressed concerns regarding bad internet connectivity. The issue has surged immensely, not letting alone, even major cities like Karachi. The rationale given by the PTA Chairman Hafeezur Rehman stated, previously, the total obtainable spectrum in the country was 274MHz but now escalated to 754MHz after the 5G spectrum auction. Additionally, the telecommunication operators have employed the same infrastructure for 5G services without network infrastructure expansion.
